SKY reported Operating Performance with total revenue of THB 567 million for the First Quarter of 2022, a backlog of THB 22,400 million, ready for business growth, and Thailand reopening.

SKY ICT Public Company Limited or SKY revealed the operating performance for the first quarter of 2022 with a revenue of THB 567 million and a net profit of THB 181 million, grew by 1,175% YoY. The revenue backlog is THB 22.4 billion and will book the revenue in 2022 of approx. THB 3,000 million. With confidence that it would continuously grow as opening borders gave a significant positive sign which will boost revenue from airport-related projects. After TAT announced an increase of 2,101% of foreign tourists entering Thailand. The company is moving forward with CONNECTING THAILAND plan for accelerating infrastructure development to connect the future of business technologies for intelligent society and industry.

Mr. Sithidej Mayalarp, ​​Chief Executive Officer of SKY ICT Public Company Limited or SKY, the leading provider of Digital Platform and AI-Empowered Solution services in Thailand, disclosed that the company generated total revenue of THB 567.25 million for the first quarter of 2022. A net profit was at THB 181.36 million, increased by 1,175.39% compared to the same period of the year 2021 (%YoY).

Mr. Sithidej said the company is projected to continue to grow in Q2/2022 after it would sent a positive signal from the opening borders. According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) data, in the first quarter of 2022, at least 444,039 foreign tourists were visiting Thailand, rose by 2,101% from the same period of 2021. Moreover, the number of foreign tourists is expected to be at least 300,000 per month after the ease of Test & Go measures, and up to 1 million per month in the high season. The increase in the number of tourists will help the revenue recognition of airport-related projects; the APPS and PNR projects are likely to expand continuously this year.

 At the end of the first quarter of 2022, the company has a total of approximately THB 22.4 billion of work awaiting delivery under the contract in the future, which will gradually recognize revenues within this year around THB 3,000 million.
