Common Check-in Counters (CUTE)

The Common Use Terminal Equipment (CUTE) system facilitates passenger check-in and boarding processes through integration with various airline applications. It allows multiple airlines to share check-in counters under international common-use standards, improving flexibility and efficiency in passenger handling and boarding operations.

Common Use Self Service : CUSS หรือ Self-Service Kiosk

The Common Use Self Service (CUSS) system enables passengers to check in, print boarding passes, and baggage tags independently via self-service kiosks connected to airline systems. It enhances convenience, speed, and efficiency in the passenger journey.

Common Use Bag Drop (CUBD)

Common Use Bag Drop (CUBD) or Self-Bag Drop (SBD) allows passengers to check in their baggage independently by scanning their boarding pass and baggage tag. The system automates the baggage handling process, enhancing convenience and reducing wait times at the airport.

Passenger Validation System: PVS

PVS enhances airport security and operational efficiency by verifying passenger identity and travel status in real time. It allows airlines to track passengers within the airport and control access to restricted areas based on travel or service eligibility, such as international zones or premium lounges.

Self-Boarding Gates (SBG)

The Self-Boarding Gate (SBG) system is designed to streamline the passenger boarding process at departure gates. It works in conjunction with biometric technology to match a passenger’s facial data—captured during check-in—with their boarding pass information. If the data matches, the gate opens automatically; if not, it remains closed, and the passenger must seek assistance from staff. In case of system issues or exceptions, a manual boarding channel is available to ensure smooth operations.

Automated Biometric Identification System

The Automated Biometric Identification System is a system that verifies passenger identity using biometric data such as facial or iris recognition. The system collects and stores passenger biometrics in a database during the check-in process, creating a unified “One ID” profile. This eliminates the need for multiple physical documents like boarding passes or passports. Passengers can simply scan their faces at various airport checkpoints, allowing the system to instantly verify their identity. This enhances convenience, speeds up processing, and ensures a secure and efficient travel experience through highly accurate biometric verification.
